Does rainy weather put a damper on your style? Don't let it! Let your styling outfit bring sunshine on gloomy days! I'm glad you've come to see how I styled rain boots! With a few simple tips, you'll be on your way to bringing sunshine in everyone's way on rainy days!
First of all, if you don't own a pair of rain boots, I would highly recommend you get a pair. You can use them when its rainy or snowy without sacrificing your style.
Here are 3 tips to take into consideration when buying rain boots:
- Make sure the boots are really water proof…believe it or not, some rain boots are not water proof and are solely for aesthetics.
- Don't be afraid to get a bright color! It doesn't matter what color you choose because the rain boots can be used as the accent of an outfit. I would however suggest getting a solid color as opposed to a pattern because you can match more with it.
- Some rain boots are really poorly made and will deteriorate fast so I suggest spending a little more for a better quality pair. Also, when well taken care of, they'll last even longer :)
You can wear rain boots with skirts and dresses! Just because it's raining doesn't mean you are restricted to wearing only pants or jeans…the next time the weather calls for rain boots, try styling them with a dress!!
If you do opt for a more neutral color for rain boots, add some color to your outfit through colored jeans or other accent accessories
Rain boots can be worn no matter what season it is! Wether it's cold and rainy or warm and gloomy, rain boots can be styled to fit any weather condition or occasion!
